To revoke old memories, I am Akshay, alumnus of ISM (class of 2007, grade 10). I have now "migrated" to India, mera poorana bharat. To be sure, life is tougher here, but there are a lot of other good things you will never find in Oman (and definitely more so after Gonu).
Anyway, the point of this message was simple: to urge everybody to record, in as systematic a manner, the happenings of our very dear school. I found only one video relating to ISM on YouTube and a few pictures on Uren's blog. I think that there ought to be more blogs, scrap books, videos, et cetera, relating to the grand old Indian School Muscat.
I am starting a blog on this Sunday, so watch out for this space as I will be announcing the "grand commencement" of my little blog, which will feature a lot of different things like recording the incredible differences of living I found between Oman and India, random rantings, and other such stuff (all served with fine humour, of course).
A propos, I am not very pleased with the rather obscene new name Varun has for us. Surely enough, WhatsUpISM had a very different feel to it that is now gone, a more professional and authentic website feel, rather than a chit-chat-over-cuppa-coffee forum.
