XBOX360 VS PS3 VS REVOLUTION

 atlast the era of next gen is arrived....2006 is gonna b a big bang..xbox has already launched its new console...which was a innovation frm microsoft....the speciality of xbox360 is tht now v ll c games frm japanese production companies like capcom n sega which used to launch only for playstation ...n ofcourse v cant forget the graphics of xbox...the graphics of the 1st xbox were jus mind blowin usin a geforce card specially custom build for the console....games like doom3 , chronicle of riddick, thief 3...was jus amazin.... n so the microsoft complany concentrated mostly on graphics dis time again ...it is said tht x360 is gonna be atleast 35 times faster...so guys u can get an idea wat v gonna c in the console...new feature in gameplay will b facial expression, muscle movements, SWEAT fx(how kewl can tht b)..as v talkin of the advantages, now lets talk abt demerits...only one i can c is the capacity of the dis it used, its jus a dual layer max 8.5GB, n it will hav an add on HD DVD drive but tht ll b only to c movies n will b external...so in the end...if u fan of FPS...n lukin gr8 graphics..then go for X360..


PLAYSTATION 3..


well wat to say abt sony ppl...they hav always created impact in all aspects...so even their new console is gonna do...it was told tht their new console is gonna release dis spring...but sony ppl like to steal stuff frm others always as they did by stealin the concept of the nintendo's motion sensor joystick..so the console will b ready by november n release in oman will b by end of dec(so guys ask ur dad to get a christmas gift as ps3)...the graphics is again a custom build geforce ....it is nthng compare to current geforce7...so v r gettin an idea how kewl can graphics b...n how can v 4get abt the new technolgy ...the blu ray disc...its suppoe to hav a capacity max 50gb..[well i jus hav 40 gb total in my comp.]...but sure der are very few demerits...the console will b very expensive at its launchin time...den abt the games...almost all of them r gonna b sequels to games of ps2..so v wont c much of new stuff in gameplay...n the worst nightmare...THE CONTROLLER LOOKS THE SAME...how worse can tht b..only new thng in controller is the motion sensor(this technology is explain in revolution topic) used by revolution..


some facts: the actual playstation was suppose to released by nintendo...when nintendo was plannin it out...they ask sony ppl to make cd rom for the console ...1st sony agreed but l8r durin the production sony resigned n came wit whole concept tht they ll create a new console name PLAYSTATION ..so v can say nintendo n sony r enemies..


Wii (revolution)


well there hasnt been much improvement or innovation in the console as of xbox and ps series..but nintendo sure knws how to keep their consoles runnin...they added the motion sensor to their controls...now i m talkin abt motion sensor frm startin now 4 those ppl who dont knw wat it does then here i go..motion sensor is a sensor in ur joystick...it will detect motion created by the user...now if u playin a sword fightin ...then u ll jus hav to imagine ur joystick is a sword n u hav to move like a sword in order to play...so means nintendo is tryin to keep us immerse in gameplays...this is one of the good features...so i think Wii will do sales.but when i saw the gameplay videos of the new tony hawks skater specially for wii...it was amazin ..check it out on www.gamespot.com..   n then i m totally lukin forward to play the new series of resident evil on this console...it ll b amazin....but till now no news has beed revealed abt the new resident evil...


IN THE END:


i m in total favor of X360 ....coz wat i ve seen frm trailers...i jus cant wait to hav my hands over one of them ....n its got all the good features also ...then i ll put Wii in the list of rankins,...the gameplays r immersive  n thts wat gamers want....then i ll like to put ps3...coz their console is a copy cat of x360 n wii...they may hav good collection but their gameplay isnt immersive for all of them ...n in the next gen ..all most all games will cum 4 all console ...so its bttr to buy x360 ..coz guys n gals(who intersted in games) trust me games like call of duty 3(specially for x360 in production), quake 4, nba live 2006, need for speed carbon(TBA), fifa, smack down vs raw 2007, gta (new 4 next gen not yet announced the date of release),resident evil 5...r jus gonna blow ur mind off...


OKEY DONT FORGET TO TOTALLY ENJOY THESE CONSOLES U REQUIRE HD TVS WHICH R HARDLY AVAILABLE IN OMAN OTHER THAN SONY BRAVIA N SUM OTHERS...but u can still play on normal digital tvs but games played on HD TV is diff ...trust me i ve tried it ...

Dunno abt xbox 360 or ps3, the prblm is u need a high definition tv which costs abt 250-350 rials...Plus u need to buy the main console, either an xbox360 or a ps3,which itself costs 200 or 300 respectively... if u do have a hdtv buy a ps3 cos it's got better resolution than xbox360 and thus sharper graphics. Again a problem with this is ps3 games are gonna come out on blu-ray disks which is a new technology in making cd's.... It's gonna cost most prbly around 17-25r.o.,and there wont be any dvd games for ps3. Lets just hope these are just starting problems and that such huge prices will come down.....


However, if u r looking for a cheap console ,abt 150ro range,, the nintendo wii is gonna come out along with ps3. U DONT need a hdtv, but the prblm is not many ppl play the nintendo wii, so there are very few places in oman that sell any nintendo or gamecube game.. The pros and cons about the wii and its other features are already mentioned by umran.... so read that for more information

dude as u were talkin abt the resolution n said ps3 has higher...dude check properly ...xbox360 is also usin same resolution ....1080i...man b4 tellin think twice..

dude its clearly given in the comparison chart of the 2 consoles ...tht xbox will also render graphics at 1920x1080(1080)...dude 1st of all ...do u hav any idea abt HD TVs..at present only tv at 720p r commercialised...so u hav xbox or ps3 u ll the same graphics..n nxt thng they told tht u can play game at 720 p on xbox at current games r bein render at ...but it can support 1080 ..so dont even thng abt raggin me k ...bloody faraz....go check dis site in the comparison chat

Accordin to the conferences of expo E3 2006...X360 is leading in battle of next gen bcoz of its game titles n graphics..then v hav got nintendo wii coz of its innuitive gameplay n its amazin controller...n then we ve got ps3...sony is way bhind coz 1st of all major drawback was the controller used again of ps2 n then the game titles shown were all most all sequels so ppl didnt get to c any thng kewl as last for x360 ....so sony has to do alot to get a boost in its rankins in nxt year E3 s...

The next round of video game wars is just beginning, but it already looks like Nintendo's Wii is in for a fight. Searches on the system have fallen 28% this month, and the Wii trails both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in overall searches.

Fortunately, it's not all gloom and doom for Nintendo. The oddly named console is surprisingly popular with 21- to 29-year-olds, a demographic normally believed to be "too old" to play with the Big N. Additionally, queries on "nintendo wii release date" are up 20% this month. Meanwhile, searches on "playstation 3 release date" have actually tumbled 28%.

So, perhaps Nintendo's glass is half full. After all, the anticipation is there. Plus the Wii's willingness to produce simple but fun games, like "Wii Sports," may bring in an entirely new audience (i.e., those who find the PlayStation controller's 47 buttons a tad intimidating).

well i knw dis topic wont fit here much ...but still ...its does a litle bit as its concern wit them a litlle..

HD-DVD v/s BLU RAY...
the blu ray is still ahead in the battle ..but no blu ray disc has been announced ....hd dvd player hav arrived in market ..n r pretty expense...but r worth coz of the video clarity....n sound quality...sum hd dvds r cumin dis summer ..n lots for halloween ...so guys collectin money frm now on ...coz one hd dvd will b very expensive...the prize i still dun knw for oman ..coz none has arrive n will not arrived guess till aug or sep ....same in uae....
