Inspirations have always been a relevant part of the Indian Film Industry. But sometimes people blatantly just copy the original and term it as inspiration. One such case is Tanuja Chandra’s Zindaggi Rocks, wherein Sushmita Sen plays the role of a rock star. The makers have taken the rock star image so seriously that they have copied the look of another REAL life rocking pop star Shakira.
Sushmita’s video in Zindaggi Rocks has her wearing the same costume as Shakira in the video ‘Hips Don’t Lie’. Just some days back we heard Farah Khan was to choreograph Shakira in a musical. The makers of Zindaggi Rocks couldn’t get Shakira to dance to their tunes so they made a Shakira of Sushmita. Well, we aren’t complaining as Sushmita is looking gorgeous in the movie. But we sincerely hope some day the Indian film makers will come up with something original and make a mark for themselves.
hahaaaa good one, i saw that video of 'zindagi rocks', and i saw it from the same scene where she's wearing the same costume as Shakira ...and im like..hey is this hips dont lie?, and then i see Sushmita Sen, WhOA , they might as well have copied the whole song.lol

no i beg to differ with dat....thgh da visuals r strikingly similar..but da songs are hardly copied frm eng songs...yea for a few songs..but all d ahit songs r original compositions..ane music lover wud wouch for dat
