Sequels in hollywood was a very vaery common thing...... anythin tht striked the box office had a sequel but nw even bollywood movies are in to the run with sequels ......... but let it hollywood or bollywood none of us actually find the sequels better than their previous ones ??? is it because we expect too much from a sequel or is it that the interest dies on it ?? you can tk the examples of any of the seqeuls lik this year;s X3, MI3, Dead man's chest Underworl, Silent hill, superman, and even for bollywood lik phir hera pheri, n then same for krissh .... thou it ws a hit ppl found it way too kiddish.....
wel sum are ..sum arent..krisshh wasnt exactly a sequel just a way of continuin a story...dhoom 2 is gonna rock i gurantee..jus liek da last one...hollywood too has a bit of bad luck for sequels..James Bond and mission impossible and harry potter and star wars bein sum exception..yea yea okay fine lord of the rings to...but da rest jus dont keep up da same expectations!!!

I have noticed that sequels for bollywood movies dunt work out v well ,they do not go supper hit like the 1st movie LIKE koi mil gaya was a super hit not krissh like koi mil gaya..Hera pheri was a bomb not pher hera pheri AND i heard the 3 rd part is also cumin out!!!!OMG!!! D:2 is cumin out durin diwali time lets see how will it work out actions seems to be full on!!Then i guess we can cum to an final conclusion......

PHP 3 is gonna come out n is gonna be directed by anees bazmee - the director of no entry - the biggest hit in india 2005 .... its gonna hav the same protagonists i.e. akshay n paresh n suneil but the rest are gonna change ........... no1 tellin much abt englsih sequels ???
wat to say abt english sequels??/ except for perhaps MI2, Matrix and a select few hav dun really well...da rest just bombed...lord of the rings wus gud till the the second sequel..but the third part jus broke down..it wuz an agonizing watch...ditto for spiderman 3
however i wudnt put superman returns in the sequel category i wus say its a more of a remake or a series
yea definately...Ice Age 2 wus a cool flick as far as sequels are concerned
