The film stars Shah Rukh Khan in lead role. Shah Rukh plays a dishonored hockey player who returns to the game after a seven years gap but this time as a coach. He takes up the responsibility of becoming the coach of an ignored girl’s hockey team. The team arrives in Australia to play for the women’s world cup and that is when their struggle begins for dignity and self respect.
The film will be directed by Shimit Amin who made his directorial debut with Ab Tak Chappan in 2003. Chak De! India will be his second directorial venture and first with the Yash Raj group.
i had heard of farha khan's movie..its titled "Happy New Year"...Chak De India sounds gud and intresting..finally anoder sports movie..how i long for htem.."Iqbal" wus probably one of the best..even better than lagaan
actually othr than indiafm which all kno i kno 2 more sites which giv out all these........ n yea ameen happy new year has been postpones....... another piece on the news is tht all these 3 movies will have arjun rampal featurin in them.... apparently he was also there in srk's last 2 which were kank n upcomin don...... n this is the first time yash raj have ever tried their hand on a sport flick.... lets c hw it works out ??
