Tatana Kucharova, an 18-year-old student from the Czech Republic, won the Miss World 2006 beauty contest. Kucharova defeated 103 other women in voting among a panel of judges and from television viewers around the world during a two-hour finals ceremony in the Polish capital.

No ..the indian didnt win..her name is Natasha Suri i think...and got eliminated in da first round..but aneways she wuznt a gud contender at all...i saw her talent round and she tried to do a mujra on that old umraao jaan song and one from the New shahrukh khan devdas - "Maar Daala"
