Calendar year 2006 gave way to 2007. Academic year is fast approaching the close. Before you spell "Jack Robinson", it would be 02 Mar, final exams and tearful farewell. All good things come to an end.
Preliminary exams will get over, Board exam fever will start and anxious wait for the results will follow through. Lots and lots of ambitions will see the light of the day. Many will start travelling to India, US, Australia, Canada, Russia - so on and so forth. Some Omani lovers will continue to attack Waljat, Caledonian and Majan. Again the studies, new environment, new faces - life continues.......

Intention of this post is to bring in certain hard realities for you to make a wise decision and stick to it. Avenues are open in plenty in the world. New dynamic courses are in the education market these days. Don't get disappointed if some of the entrance exam results for engg and medicine did not come as expected. Have an interesting alternative ready to pursue. Who knows, another Kalam will be in the making.
Make it a point to select one more additional qualification other than your main subject - for example in case of Commerce it could be Company Secretaryship or Cost Accounting, in case of BBA, it could be Computerised accounting packages, for those with inclination to literature some advance languages (Chinese, Japanese,French, German to name a few), for those who has flair for numbers, go all out for Stock exchange operation - these were just examples. Anything added to your main degree increases your employability.
Being in school, you have been more than casual in your approaches to living. Now is the time for you to become more responsible. Be a support to your family - have a target to supplement your parental income. Apart from your pocket expenses, you get more satisfaction of helping your family. Plan your future. Our Counsellors will guide you correctly. Take guidance from them.
