Today, the 3rd thursday of the month, 17th april took plave the prefectorial and house elections in the ISM senior block. And trust me elections are bad, screaming, cheating, politics, betrayals, laughters,tears, promises( fake or real doesnt matter), and more than all that fights. Its a game which the ones who have so called "power" or "status" or "rep" play...... the campaingners... the contestants ... it is their game. which makes the day so eventful for the neutral. and crazy for the campaigners and contestants. Lets take a small look at how the elections went for the 12th graders as they have the captains coming from them :
Blue house
Angad supposedly gave a superb speech with his very good speaking techniques, and to add to that, his friends and the audience who were completely screaming out their asses for him. All thanks to his "popular" friends, but nevertheless it worked.. the 10ths and 11ths did vote for him. and everything went jolly for him... then it was divya's chance, who had quite a good speech and maybe many friends and voters. But there was no much help from the audience. She still managed to prove as a competition to Angad who left his council batch for the blue house. So overall... was gr8 for Angad.... ok ok for divya.... poor blue house people.... they shouted the most of all the houses.
Green house
7 contestants at first, which got reduced to 5, and then 4. Of those, cricketer vignesh came and gave an exhilirating speech getting some support from the audience, though it was too short and he wasnt convincing enough, as all he did was shout. but eventually he did manage some votes all due to his shouting skills. Then came Disha, who was pretty confident, had to face a crowd which was shouting for green house as they couldnt bear blue house shouting themselves. even then she managed to be aggressive enough and laid down a very good speech, though it went too long. and after a certain moment got repititive, she still had lotta audience support and a well made speech, then was saif's chance, who was subject to massive campaigning due to his friends. but then screwed up everything by a poor speech, could be crowd fear, or the effect of a good disha speech, or maybe jus luck, that his speech went haywire changing his votes to the other contestants. Last was Darpan. who had a lot of 10th support, and gave a perfect speech. kudos to that, an amazing speech, perfect timing, perfect tone, and support from the audience. which gained him a lot of votes. Its a tough call for this house.. and noone knos whos the winner.
Yellow house:
Yellow house, a house noone cared of much especially in consideration of the "in" crowd of ISM as the last day of the elections, that is on wednesday, Surbhi Jhavar had to take back her application as her resignation from the council wasnt accepted. So all hype about yellow house crashed and the elections turned out to be so boring that even the yellow house wasnt interested. The two members contesting were Qasim and Shalaka, none of them as popular as Surbhi, which was seen when both the contestants had to face a crowd who was shouting " we want surbhi ". Disappointed both of the members still gave their speeches. Shalaka a good enough speaker had no much problem in her kind of ok-ok speech. Her speech still had some meaning, Qasim on the other hand looked as if he stood for fun, no great speech no appeal, he himself doesnt want to win, thats what the crowds felt. But still he did give competition to shalaka due to the anti shalaka members of yellow house who would make anyone the captain other than shalaka, even if it was qasim. Noone knows the result, though a lotta people eye shalaka as the winner. The most dull and boring elections this year were the yellow ones. A lot were also reported to give invalids. Due to lack of interest. Lets hope the fate of yellow house for the final trophy doesnt be the same as this.

Blue house :
Angad - Sajid, Akshay, "The Rajus" including Nisar Sachin
Divya - 12 J, Fuad, Noopur, and her girl friends Nitya, Pooja etc.
Green house:
Darpan - jatinder, chintan, pass-outs were all with darpan
Disha - Nitya, Raisa, Divya, Sajid and the girls.
Saif - Huzaif, Sagar, Mahak and others
Vignesh - 11th votes, his cricket team
Yellow house:
Shalaka - Science section of XII
Qasim - anti shalaka people, specially the ones who were abandoned cz there was no surbhi.
